There is so much fear in the world today. Fear is taking the form of anger, sadness, defensiveness, amongst other projections. Although a lot of the fear is targeted towards others, it’s really fear of self. So many people claim to work on themselves but are afraid to face the things that can really make them the best version of themselves.
Carl Jung once said, “One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.” Becoming enlightened does not happen over night and is not something that is just given. It requires work; it requires being uncomforable and working through the feeling of discomfort. It’s about accepting all the parts of yourself, even the parts that you think makes you a horrible person.
